Notes

  • Hypothetically a PM could benefit from interacting with benchmarking data, but practically
haven't experienced this and don't really see that happening soon

  • SandboxAQ folks are very engaged (M Pittman) with OpenFF & boards. Wonder if somebody there
would have interest in working with this in the future

  • (Generally): Don't see a case in which a partner would run or need to look closely at these
    benchmarks

  • Could YAMMBS be used by an industry partner on their internal datasets?

    • MT: Yes

  • Q about formats, a lot of potential user stories from partners would involve YAMMBS but not
super tied to a public archive. A couple of important details are

    • Would need to be a way to transform existing datasets into whatever YAMMBS consumes

    • YAMMBS outputs would need to be inspectable by non-OpenFF people

    • All data (inputs and outputs) would need to be able to be kept under lock and key

  • Partners might want to look through (public) benchmarking results, but that user story isn't
really different from anybody else looking through public data

  • (as a PM) JE wouldn't need to look through benchmarking results, but need to be able to
communicate to partners WHERE the results are / HOW to access them. (Not really a unique user
    story!)
