General updates

• JW – DSwenson wants to coordinate attending USRSE conference with you

  • MT – I’ll coordinate with him.

• MT – Could I have next Weds-Fri off? Could still make sure to present/submit a recording for the ad board meeting Pypi pitch.

  • JW – Yup, that’ll be fine.

  • (updated calendar and added to status channel)

• MT – I’ll reserve the right to merge unreviewed PRs under a few conditions:

  • They’re not breaking changes

  • They’re not in OFFTK

  • No feedback from maintainer in a month

  • Tests are passing

  • JW – This broadly sounds good to me - Are there any borderline cases where you’d like my judgement on this? I think it would be good to go too far and break something a few times than to have stuff sit around for too long.

  • MT – Good.

• MT – Is SMIRNOFF committee still stalled?

  • JW – DM brought this up at monday’s governing board meeting. We’re going to have JE coordinate face-to-face meetings to get things moving. Could you remind me of most blocking/critical issues?

  • MT – Most urgent issue is that most things use a different cutoff in the gas phase than is specified. This is either blocking JHorton’s dimer interaction energy work (or he needs a clunky workaround).

  • MT – Nobody knows how LJPME will go into spec

  • MT – No consensus on how to specify PME
